Big Decision Author: Amanda Paweska Feedback: greenfreakgirl@tomgreen.com Rating: G Notes at the end ______________ "Are you are you want to go through with this?" the women's voice was soft and gentle, "You seem nervous." "It's been a long time since I've done this actually. Can you tell?" Langly smiled sheepishly. "Not at all," her fingers swept across his neck causing him to jump a little. "Yeah, I am nervous," he confessed. She laughed sweetly, "I promise to be gentle." "Thanks," he blushed, feeling almost like a child. "Now are you sure you want to do this" It's a big decision," she gave him another chance to back out. And he wanted to take it. "No, I really need this," he was determined to go through with it, "Truthfully I sort of feel like a freak for not doing this in SO long." She smiled at him. That sweet sympathetic smile. "My friends are actually pressuring me to be here. They're the ones paying you for this," he smiled. "Well, I'll be sure to give them their money"s worth," she giggled as she continued to prep him. His breathing and pulse quickened. "Are you ready?" she spoke close to his ear. He nodded slowly feeling his throat tighten and squeezed his eyes shut. "Aw, don't worry, I won't hurt you," she giggled again as she lovingly brushed his hair back off his face. He smiled, but kept his eyes shut. "Brace yourself," her voice seemed to take on a husky tone. Langly bit his bottom lip as he heard the first *snip *. He slowly opened his one eye and peeked in the mirror, a single, inch long blond lock on the floor. Slowly more fell until a light dusting of hair lined the floor behind the chair. "All done," the woman beamed, "Now that wasn't so bad, was it?" She asked as she removed the plastic cloak from around his neck. "I guess not," he checked the length in the mirror. "It looks a lot neater now. And you know a trim now and than is a good idea," she smiled at her helpful hint. THE END NOTE: This was inspired by a thread on the Fox X-Files Forum, about how long Langly's hair is getting. This is dedicated to who ever started that tread. :)
